نعم..إنه خبر عجيب.
فتيات ولاية كاليفورنيا الأمريكيات إذا لم يكن يرغبن في أولادهن الحديثي الولادة فعليهن أن يتخلصوا منهم في مدة مقدارها 3 أيام بعد الولادة، وبعد هذه المدة تصبح جناية بحق الطفل.
أصبح الكثير من الفتيات يرمين (أطفال الزنا) في سلة الزبالة في الشوارع مما اضطر بعض الذين لديهم بقايا إنسانية أن يضعوا ملصقات على الكثير من الحاويات ترشد الأمهات إلى: عدم رمي أطفالهن في الحاوية و بدلاً من ذلك عليهن أن يسلموا أطفالهن إلى رجال الإطفاء أو للمستشفيات.
وبعد إختراع هذا الملصق (والحاجة أم الإختراع) قامت أكثر من منطقة بوضع مثل هذه الملصقات، بل اتفقوا مع مصانع الحاويات أن يجعلوا ذاك الملصق مطبوعًا على الحاوية من المصنع.
أي أنك ستجد رمز لعدم رمي الأطفال؟؟؟؟

“Don’t Throw Child in Trash” (A Sign of the Times).
Several California towns have placed the decal shown here on local trash containers urging mothers to stop dumping their unwanted children in the garbage but to leave them with a medical professional or at a local fire station. Most frequently dumped, say officials, are newborns and stillborn children.
The stickers were created by Debbie Faris, who operates a cemetery for abandoned infants, and were designed with images that mothers of all nationalities could understand.
Says a local police sergeant about the stickers and mothers about to throw away their children: “Maybe at the last minute the thought of reality might set it, but they’ve usually made that decision before they go to the trash bin.”
The stickers were designed by Debbie Faris, who operates the Garden of Angels cemetery for abandoned infants. Faris says the stickers are meant to be used as an international symbol that could be recognized by mothers from any nationality.

Adding decals to bins, Hemet hopes message for mothers of babies will stick
Authorities hope that stickers on trash bins might make distraught mothers think twice before throwing away their babies.
City officials in Hemet, Fontana and Yucaipa have placed decals on trash containers urging mothers who might abandon their newborns to seek medical attention or a local fire station, under California’s Safe Surrender Law.
One side of the sticker shows a red slash through a picture of a mother throwing a baby head-first into a trash bin over the word “No,” while the other side says “Yes” and has the mother handing the baby to a nurse and firefighter.
Under the Safe Surrender Law, mothers have 72 hours after birth to hand over an unwanted baby. Mothers must hand-deliver the infants to a firefighter or medical personnel. If they change their mind, they may reclaim their children through child protective services within 14 days.
Leaving a baby unattended or surrendering one after 72 hours can be considered criminal child abandonment.
The stickers were designed by Debbie Faris, who operates the Garden of Angels cemetery in Calimesa for abandoned infants from throughout Southern California. Faris said the stickers are meant to be used as a symbol that could be recognized by mothers of any nationality.
“Dumpsters are the place where most babies are found,” Faris said. “We hope that in a last resort, someone will look at the sticker and think not to place their baby in there. That’s not what we do with another human being.”
